A delegation from Pakistan is in Bangladesh to attend the SAARC Cotton Conference.
The delegation is made up of members from the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) and Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI).
A member of the delegation, Haji Akram said that, it was a positive development that cotton-producing countries made up of SAARC countries were sitting together to discuss the problems they faced in current times.
The conference would not only help promote trade but also help reduce unemployment in the region, he said. He also stressed on the need to exchange technology among SAARC countries.
