Output of products up across textile value chain in 2011

According to recent data released by National Bureau of Statistics, from January to April this year, China's total yarn production increased 10.58 percent, of which cotton yarn output rose 8.93 percent, year on year.

Overall fabric production grew 15.57 percent, while cotton fabric increased 15.53 percent, year on year.

Clothing output increased by 13.50 percent, of which, woven clothing production ascended 12.66 percent, year on year.

Polyester fibre production amplified by 17.64 percent and viscose fibre output augmented 16.41 percent year on year.
