The results of the VEIT Group's participation in Texprocess, which closed its doors on 27 May 2011, are a huge success for the company from the South German town of Landsberg am Lech. VEIT presented its Veit, Brisay and Kannegiesser brands at the leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials in Frankfurt am Main.
Günter Veit, CEO of the VEIT Group, said, “Texprocess has exceeded all our expectations. Therefore, we will exhibit exclusively every two years at Texprocess and no longer take part in the IMB show.”
The première of Texprocess attracted 16,000 visitors from 86 countries. Located in Hall 6.0 of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre, the VEIT Group stand drew crowds of international trade visitors, and the stand team held discussions with customers from 40 different nations. In this connection, Günter Veit said, “We are very pleased with the quality, quantity and internationality of the visitors to our stand. There were also numerous Asian visitors. In addition to highly promising talks with business partners and new customers, we have taken orders worth more than those received at all previous IMBs.”
At Texprocess, the VEIT Group presented the entire spectrum of innovations, from irons and ironing tables, via steam generators, pressing machines, form finishers, shirt finishers and fusing machines, to tunnel finishers and packing machines. One of the highlights was the VEIT 8657 Tunnel Finisher, which can also be used effectively with difficult fabrics, such as cotton and linen. Günter Veit added: “Our innovations were very well received. That Texprocess is held every two years suits us down to the ground, and we are very pleased that we will be able to show our innovations at more frequent intervals in the future.”
Veit also benefited from the fact that Texprocess was held parallel to Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, at which the company has exhibited in the past. As Günter Veit said, “Holding the two fairs at the same time and place saves time and money and we were also able to reach textile-processing companies effectively via our presentation at Texprocess.”
VEIT made excellent contacts with the automobile and upholstered-furniture industry. “We received a major order from a renowned automobile manufacturer”, added the CEO. Interesting discussions were also held with companies from the protective clothing sector, especially in connection with laminating reflectors and protectors.
The VEIT Group will exhibit at Texprocess Americas in Atlanta from 24 to 26 April 2012 and at the next Texprocess in Frankfurt from 11 to 14 June 2013.
