Indian textile to be displayed in Rabat

In association with Embassy of India in Rabat, Morocco, the Synthetic and Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) is going to conduct the third exhibition on Indian Textile and Clothing Industry from December 22 to 23, 2005 in Casablanca, Royal Mansour Meridien Hotel.
Supported by the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industry (AMITH), this expo will show different product categories like suiting, shirting, dress materials and furnishings, yarn, fabrics and threads manufactured by leading Indian makers and exporters.
Showcasing Indian textile industry know-how to Moroccan buyers, this expo will include extraordinary variety of Indian synthetic and blended fabrics, reveal sources of the Embassy of India in Rabat.
Event has also an objective of bolstering bilateral trade between the two countries in textile industry.
Since current Indian share of textile exports to Morocco is not sizeable, there is huge opportunity for trade expansion even as Morocco imports different types of textiles from other countries.
