Rotorcraft proves to be one of the main draw at India ITME

Rotorcraft, an innovator in spinning technology, proved to be a major attraction with its new Swiss machines for spinning which embody the operating principles of efficiency, simplicity, and sustainability, at the recently held India ITME 2016 textile machinery expo, at the Bombay exhibition and convention centre, in Mumbai, from December 3 to 8, 2016.

The company presented a revolutionary new ring spinning frame named Next Generation Spinning (NGS). In order to avoid any human or operating errors, the NGS frame has no setting screws. The setting of the drafting system is achieved by the use of exchangeable elements in different colours. The distance between the drafting system and the spinning ring remains constant during the entire operation.

A low-pressure channel is built in between the working elements of both sides of the frame. The channel is large enough to fit the suction tubes as well as the low-pressure elements for pneumatic compact spinning.

A large international audience of technical experts and mill owners gave overwhelming response at the Rotorcraft booth.

The next generation of compact spinning systems named Green Compact was also on display. The system attains yarn quality improvements introduced by the first generation of compacting systems, while saving $ 6 to 8 in energy cost per spindle per year. It, therefore, performs considerably more economically and sustainably compared to old generation compacting systems. (GK)
