Saurer, Premier Evolvics in JV for yarn clearers

Saurer Group, one of the leading producers of automatic winders, has joined hands with Premier Evolvics, worldwide leader in the field of laboratory testing and online quality monitoring equipment for the textile industry, as per a company press release.
The joint venture named Saurer Premier Technologies Private Limited will develop and manufacture yarn clearers in Coimbatore, India. The joint winding and clearer know how in this joint venture opens new possibilities in optimising the data processing for customers.
With the intelligent solutions provided by Premier Evolvics,  Saurer Group's Saurer Schlafhorst, which manufactures automatic winders, will take a quantum leap to providing a complete data control in the spinning process.
“Continuous development of the clearer in close cooperation with a winder manufacturer is a huge advantage. The joint venture partnership is a win-win for both parties but first and foremost for the customer who in the future can profit from the synergy arising from this cooperation. We are very pleased that Saurer recognised our potential and that we managed to find such an excellent partner for our continued development of the active management of the spinning process,” said Sridhar Varadaraj, managing director of Premier Evolvics.

The joint venture's first innovation is the Clearer IRisFX, a new clearer generation with superior foreign fibres and white PP detection, which is being displayed at the ongoing ITMA 2015 at Milan on Saurer's booth B109 hall 2 and on Premier's booth D107 hall 2. (HO)
