Setting right targets for issues key to building biodiversity strategy

Setting the right targets for issues in play in locations, i.e., thinking about biodiversity in context by including appropriate habitats and species issues, is the key to building biodiversity strategies, said Alexis Morgan, Global Water Stewardship lead at WWF International. Setting individual and shared responsibilities is equally important, he said.

Digging deeper into geographical areas and operations in your business value chain that heavily affect biodiversity and where the company is heavily dependent on biodiversity will lead to a decision on what actions are needed to tackle the issue, Morgan told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
