SGS has been included again in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices World and Europe, with a top score of 83/100 in the S&P Global’s 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

SGS has reaffirmed its position as a leader in sustainability by securing once again a top spot in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for both the World and Europe categories. This marks a significant milestone, with the company celebrating a decade of outstanding performance in these indices. In a notable achievement, SGS has scored an impressive 83 out of 100 in the S&P Global's 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) for the professional services sector. This score significantly surpasses the industry sector average of 26 out of 100, underscoring SGS's commitment to sustainability excellence.

A benchmark for corporate sustainability

The DJSI is a benchmark for corporate sustainability, recognizing companies that excel in long-term economic, environmental, and social practices. The DJS World Index, in particular, showcases the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index. Inclusion in this index is a testament to a company's dedication to sustainable development and responsible business practices.

Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS, expressed immense pride in the company's consistent achievements: "Being featured once again in the DJSI is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to sustainability and responsible business conduct. As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, we are dedicated to promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals across our entire value chain. This recognition reinforces our position as a leader in integrating sustainable practices into our core business strategy."

Sustainable business practices are integral to long-term success

This recognition not only highlights SGS's role as a sustainability pioneer but also sets a benchmark for other companies in the professional services sector to aspire to. With a decade-long track record of excellence, SGS continues to lead by example, demonstrating that sustainable business practices are integral to long-term corporate success.
