Teijin Limited, a technology-driven global group, has announced that Nantong Teijin Co., Ltd., the group’s textile manufacturing and sales company, is set to participate in the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics-Spring Edition 2017, a leading expo of apparel fabric and accessories, from March 15 to 17, 2017, in Shanghai, China, in stand J29, 7-1H.

The Teijin stand will showcase post-processed materials for the expanding outdoor market. One material, laminated MICROFT, is a moisture-permeable, water-repellent fabric that resists water pressure beyond 10,000 millimetres, yet has a supple texture thanks to its special laminating process. Fashion fabrics mainly for bottoms, also will be exhibited at the stand.

The displays will also feature eco-friendly Teijin materials, including a cutting-edge chemically recycled polyester and SOLOTEX, a soft and stretchable polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre.

Nantong Teijin will exhibit nearly 300 materials and 50 products in total.

Nantong Teijin, as a result of participating in Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics–Spring Edition 2017, looks forward to cultivate new customers as well as to expand transactions with existing customers and expanding its global markets for various fields including sportswear and fashion apparel.
