On display materials include; Elk polyester cushioning material, which is lightweight, durable, cushiony and breathable material and is an excellent substitute for polyurethane used in mattresses and cushioning.
“It is also eco-friendly because it does not generate cyanogen gas when incinerated,” the Japan based company informed in the press release.
Teijin will also showcase pillows made with Solotex, a polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre that has soft touch and since it is partially bio-derived, Solotex helps to conserve fossil resources.
The booth will also present a variety of high-performance polyester fibres for filling applications, including luxuriously soft fibre-filling material.
Teijin added that it will showcase these and other products and solutions to promote the company's ongoing global-business expansion.
Teijin's main fields of operation are high-performance fibres such as aramid, carbon fibres and composites, healthcare, films, resin & plastic processing, polyester fibres, products converting and IT.
The group has some 150 companies and around 16,000 employees spread out over 20 countries worldwide and posted consolidated sales of $6.6 billion in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015. (AR)
