At the show, most of the fabrics will be available from stock, from well-established, predominantly UK companies that have been working with leading fashion houses across the world, the organisers UKFT said. The choice of fabrics includes lace, silk, wool, leather, cotton, viscose and sustainable textiles for womenswear, menswear, bridalwear, lingerie and interiors. There will also be accessories such as buttons, linings and labels.
Since the UKFT acquired ownership of Textile Forum, the event has become part of the organisation’s wide range of activities that are undertaken to support the UK fashion and textile industry and promote these sectors in the domestic market and throughout the world.
Since launching in 2002, Textile Forum has cemented itself as London’s premier sourcing event for luxury fashion fabrics, now presented over two floors at our prestigious venue One Marylebone. The show attracts fabric buyers from major fashion retailers and brands, established independent design businesses and start-ups, tailors, craft shops, seamstresses and costumiers.
Visiting companies include Elvi, Goose, L.K.Bennett, Mint Velvet, Nike, Burberry, Carolina Herrera, Osman Studio, Mulberry, Pearce Fionda, ASOS, The National Theatre, Jenny Packham, Sassi Holford, Janet Reger, Radley And Co, Hemyca, Jonathan Saunders, E.
