APEX-Brasil to expand brand in German market

Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association informed that APEX-Brasil launches campaign for the German market.
The Germany of the 2006 World Cup will not only be the land of soccer, that is, at least not for Brazil, which will use the sport event stage to conduct business.
To reinforce the image that Brazilian talent goes far beyond the soccer fields, a large advertising campaign for Brazil was launched by the Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (APEX-Brasil) on 12/19, in São Paulo and, simultaneously (via webcasting), in Germany.
The objective is to expand the promotion of the Brazil Brand and increase the business generation potential in 2006, especially in Europe.
Taking advantage of the World Cup, Germany will be the first country to see the slogan 'We do it different' as well as the visual project that will be present at fairs, missions, and large retail chain collections, not to mention public and private sites and transportation means where Brazil will be present with events.
The immediate proposal is to sensitize two million importers and businessmen in general, as well as three million final consumers at retail chain promotions in Germany alone. APEX-Brasil is initially investing R$ 22 million to implement the campaign among sectorial entities.
'We want to expand Brazil's participation in the international market. We want to show that as with soccer, Brazilian industries encompass an enormous diversity of talent,' observes APEX-Brasil president, Juan Quirós.
