NTC focuses on establishing a knowledge base enabling the textile industry to develop new technologies.

The National Textile Center (NTC) is a research consortium of eight universities: Auburn University, Clemson University, Cornell University, Georgia Institute of Technology, North Carolina State University, UC - Davis, UMass - Dartmouth, and Philadelphia University.
