'Carpet Expo 2006' commences

Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) collaborated with Carpet Trade Fair Committee to organize a 'Carpet Expo 2006' at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, to be held from 18-21 February.
Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers Association (PCMEA), Qinghai Tibetan Sheep Carpets (Group) Ltd, China Chamber of Commerce for Imp & Exp. Of Foodstuffs Native Produce and Animal ByProducts and Nepal Carpet Exporters Association are all interested in participting here.
Hence, there shall be sufficient number of exporters from Pakistan, China and Nepal participating in the exhibition besides Indian Exporters.
Traders from the US, Spain, Japan, Denmark, Holland, Greece and Turkey will also be present.
In addition to the offer of two nights complimentary stay (one Room for one company) it has been decided to reimburse the air travel expenses of few buyers on fulfillment of certain criteria as well as on first come first serve basis. The reimbursement shall be equivalent to the airfare for travel by economy class by shortest route and subject to limit
India is the largest exporter of handmade rugs to the US.
