Year-on-year comparison: Import prices increased by +2.9 percent (+2.7 percent in January) and were influenced most by price growth in 'mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials' by +39.6 percent (mainly gas, petroleum and petroleum products).
Prices of other sections decreased, the most 'miscellaneous manufactured articles' prices by -6.6 percent (clothing accessories in particular).
Prices of 'machinery and transport equipment' dropped by -0.9 percent (mainly power-generating machinery and equipment).
Prices of 'machinery and transport equipment' decreased by -2.1 percent (road vehicles in particular). Like in imports, among important sections in terms of weight especially the prices of 'mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials' increased more markedly by +8.8 percent (mainly gas and petroleum products).
Terms of trade reached 95.0 percent, i.e. by 0.4 percentage points less than in January and thus they continued in their long-term decline.
The terms of trade figure was high especially in 'crude materials, inedible, except fuels' (107.2 percent) and 'miscellaneous manufactured articles' (105.7 percent); the lowest figure was (already since June 2005) for 'mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials' (77.9 percent). Terms of trade in 'machinery and transport equipment' amounted to 98.8 percent (100.0 percent in January).
