''An international textile and clothing exhibition (TEXMED) was organized on the sidelines of the meeting,'' said Al-Akayleh.

The follow of foreign investments to Jordan is expected to double Jordan's exports of garments during the next five years.

JEDCO was established through decree of the council of ministers on 12 June, 2003 to legally replace the Jordan Export Development and Commercial Centers Corporation. The overall Goals are Trade Promotion, Export Development, Enterprises and Companies Development, and JEDCO's Organizational Performance Improvement and Development.
