Delhi International Leather Fair (DLIF) opened today at Pragati Maidan displaying products of more than 125 leading companies from China, Italy, France, Thailand and Kenya.
This 14th edition, organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation, will last for three days.
It is an opportunity for Indian importers to enter into joint ventures as well as offer prospects for technology transfer and improvement in sourcing suppliers.
The all-encompassing fair would include footwear, footwear components, leather garments, fashion accessories, leather goods, saddles and harnesses, machinery, chemicals, publications and consultancy services.
Technical seminars and presentations on topics like testing, inspection and certification of leather and leather products, training and testing facilities available for footwear and component industry and the latest developments in footwear technology will also be organized.
