Weavers & exporters to meet at PDEXCIL buyer-seller meet in B'lore

Power loom Development and Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL) have arranged a buyer-seller meet on July 26-27, 2006.
Thirty-eight weavers from Erode engaged in yarn dyed fabrics and home furnishing manufacturers will be heading to Bangalore to meet exporters.
Weavers are expected to gain an opportunity to study fellow weavers' products and pricing, have a face-to-face meet with exporters at the venue and grab a share of the export market.
Bangalore being a hub for both export and domestic market, is expected to generate Rs20 crores worth business.
Weavers from Maharashtra and Varanasi representing textile centers – Bhiwandi and Ichalkaranji respectively, are also participating in the meet.
