CEPC to participate in India International Trade Fair

The Council of Handicrafts Development Corporation, New Delhi are participating in the forthcoming India International Trade Fair from 14-27 November 2006 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
They informed that the IITF is a prestigious fair where millions of buyers and visitors from India and abroad pay their visit. At this occasion the exporters have the opportunity to showcase and sale of their products and get a chance to book export orders.
The Carpet Export Promotion Council of India (CEPC) was set up by the Government of India in 1982 with a view to promote the exports of handknotted carpets and other floor coverings.
The Council advises the government on export promotion measures and helps the exporters' community in bringing their problems and requirements to the notice of the government. It provides expertise in many spheres both for the Indian exporters and foreign buyers.
The Council is a high profile body consisting of senior Trade Representatives and Government officials. It provides the necessary assistance to the Indian exporters. It identifies the markets, provides financial assistance, sponsors participation in fairs and exhibitions and also conducts publicity abroad.
