British Textile Machinery Association (BTMA) in association with the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) plans to hunt investment opportunity and to explore textile market in India.
Even BTMA has also conducted series of symposia in the country after the success of the recent BTMA Symposia held in Pakistan and Turkey.
In 2005-2006, imports of textile machinery stood at Euro11.5 million, a hike of 80 percent over previous year.
With textile industry planning to increase purchase of textile machinery, UK's textile majors are eyeing the potential markets in textile.
As textile industry is trying to improve manufacturing quality and fabric innovation, UK's textile majors would introduce quality testing equipments to meet future demands.
