The Malaysian Knitting Manufacturers Association (MKMA) held its 2007 AGM and Mr. Albert Lim Poh Boon was elected as 1st Vice President of MKMA.
MKMA believes that Mr. Albert will contribute greatly to the association.
Mr. Albert Lim plays an important role in the development of the Malaysian textile industry as he is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ramatex Group. Ramatex is the biggest and integrated textile company in Malaysia which has many overseas factories.
Mr. Albert obtained a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1977. A Chemist by profession, an associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, a senior member of The Textile Institute, United Kingdom.
He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, United Kingdom, a fellow member of Institute of Financial Accountant ,UK , a senior associate member of Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and also a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP).
He further obtained a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom in 2002.He was awarded as the Best Business Executive of the Year 2006 by the Institute of Business Executives Malaysia
He sits on the Board of several private limited companies. He has more than 25 years of experience in global operational management and strategic business planning.
