Leather & leather manufactures imports fall

During July of 2007 were exported 9,306 mln leks commodities, increasing 28 percent compared with July of 2006 and increasing 0.4 percent compared with the June of 2007.

There were imported 30,693 mln leks commodities increasing 23.9 percent compared with respectively month of the previous year and decreasing 0.2 percent compared with June of 2007.

This month the trade deficit is 21,387 mln leks signing a decrease of 0.5 percent compared with June of 2007 and signing an increase of 22.2 percent compared with July of 2006.

Trade with the EU countries is 69.8 percent. The main trade partners remain Italy and Greece. With Italy the export is 81.8 percent and the import 44.6 percent, while with Greece the export is 10.1 percent and the import 24.8 percent.

Some of the partners countries with which our export and import is increased are: in exports, Greece, Turkey, China, etc and in imports, Austria, Great Britain, Russia etc.

Import of group “Leather and leather manufactures” decreased 23.4 percent, etc.

In July 2007, the import of goods with excise is 3,860 mln leks or 12.5 percent of the total import. During this month, the import of goods with excise is increased 49.9 percent, compared with June of 2007. Oil fuel products are the main imported goods in the group of goods with excise (64.5 percent).
