Compared to September 2007, industrial production output in October 2007 has decreased by 1.7%, according to seasonally adjusted data (seasonal and working day influence is taken into account) of the Central Statistical Bureau, of which 2.1% in manufacturing.
Compared to October of previous year, in October 2007 total seasonally adjusted industrial production output has reduced by 1.6%, of which industrial production output in manufacturing it decreased by 6.7% and industrial production output in mining and quarrying has increased by 17.3%.
Compared to the October of previous year, in October of this year the production output has increased in following economic activities: in manufacturing of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment – by 11.1%, in manufacturing of textiles – by 4.1%.
Compared to October of previous year, in October of this year the industrial production output has decreased in manufacture of in Tanning and dressing of leather; manufacture of footwear – 21%, in manufacturing of furniture; manufacturing not classified otherwise – by 11.2%, in manufacturing of machinery, mechanisms, and equipment – by 7.6%, in manufacturing of wearing apparel; processing and colouring of furs – by 4.9%, in manufacturing of chemicals, chemical products and man-made fibres – by 4.6%.
