The U.S. Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual “State of American Business” press briefing on Tuesday morning, January 8. Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue will announce the organization's 2008 policy priorities. Executive Vice President for Government Affairs Bruce Josten will be on hand to answer reporters' questions.

This annual press briefing corresponds with the release of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce “State of American Business” report which will outline the challenges facing the business community as well as the Chamber's proposals on infrastructure enhancement, energy policy, legal reform, corporate governance, trade, taxes, and other issues. Copies of the report will be available at the press briefing.
Schedule Note: Mr. Donohue and Mr. Josten will brief the press and answer questions during this private press event beginning at 9 a.m. A public program for invited Chamber members will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will conclude at noon. Reporters who have pre-registered for the morning press briefing are invited to stay for the public program as well.
