Chairman of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC), Du Yuzhou, officially met with the International Textile Manufacturer Federation (ITMF) Chairman, Walter Simeoni, for the first time on July 28 this year.
After this talk it has now been decided that China will formally take part in all events of ITMF.
Mr Yuzhou expressed his pleasure at this development and said that, as one of the members of ITMF, China would strengthen the interaction and trade relations with textile industries of other countries. Thus, nations will be able to reach a mutually agreeable stand and discuss the measures to cope with international trade issues, in an efficient manner.
CNTAC Chairman said that being a member of ITMF, China will be able to prove its sincerity and the trade barriers would gradually be reduced.
ITMF is one of the important non-government international organizations, established in 1904. It has become an important platform of the communication and exchange among the textile industries of every country.
