Textile Research Institute to celebrate its 50th anniversary

On December 3, Taiwan Textile Research Institute will celebrate its 50th anniversary in its headquarters. More than a hundred prominent personalities would attend the event as guests.
The former chairmen would be offered honorary awards for their contributions to the institute, and President of Institute Mr. Bai Chi-chung will give lecture on 'Create new directions' explaining the institute's future plans and goals.
At present, the institute aims to develop into an international service center for technology research.
In the year 2004, the company changed its name to Taiwan Textile Research Institute from China Textile Institute, and in 2008 expanded to the southern region of Taiwan and established a company site at Yunlin County.
Professionals from countries including United States, Japan, England and Sweden will also mark their presence during the occasion to speak in a forum on cutting-edge technology such as nano technology.
