The Uniform and Textile Service Association (UTSA) and the Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA) Joint Executive Committee (JEC) have narrowed the field of prospective candidates for President and CEO of the consolidated UTSA/TRSA to a group who will be interviewed on November 21.

To help ensure the highest possible level of objectivity in management decisions that will be required to bridge the associations' cultures, it was determined that the President should have no previous staff affiliation with either UTSA or TRSA. These decisions will involve staffing, volunteer leadership structure, and other programming issues.

Thus, neither TRSA President Roger Cocivera nor UTSA President David Hobson are now being considered for the position. The Joint Executive Committee wanted to emphasize that it had only the highest praise for their excellent work, loyalty and diligence and complimented both men on their efforts on behalf of the industry.

JDG Associates is in the final stages of an executive search with the remaining candidates and it is expected that a new President will be named before the end of the year.
