Sinopec Tianjin ethylene project bags Council nod

Leading chemical firm Sinopec Tianjin Company informed that the company's one million t/y ethylene and related engineering project got bob from the State Council.

The project includes ethylene engineering, refining revamping and related thermo-electric revamping, etc. When completed, total ethylene scale of Tianjin Company will be 1.2million t/y, and Tianjin Company will be one of China's integrated production bases for ten million ton refining and a million ton ethylene.

Tianjin Petrochemical Company's integrated ethylene project is a giant petrochemical project invested and built by Sinopec Corp. in the mode of “regionalization, world scale, integration, specialization”, it is an integrated engineering planned and designed and constructed according to domestically advanced and world class standards.

SINOPEC Tianjin Company's main products include over 70 varieties covering the products of more than 200 specifications, such as clean automobile gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, diesel, LPG, heavy fuel oil, asphalt, petrol coke, para-xylene, purified terephthalic acid, petrobenzene, ethylene, polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene oxide, ethylene glycol, polyether, polyester chips, polyester filament and polyester fiber, etc..
