Morarjee Textiles registered threefold rise in Q3 net profit

Morarjee Textiles Ltd net profit increased by 145 percent at Rs28.8 mn during Q3 ended on December 31, 2005; this is a big profit jump against Rs9.3 mn in the same period previous year.
The income from operation grew by 20 percent to Rs420.9 mn from Rs350.5 mn in the same period last fiscal.
Net profit during the nine months reached the level of 29 percent to Rs61.4mn in comparison with Rs47.6mn during the same period of 2004.
During April-December 05, income from operation was up by 9 percent to Rs1.2bn as against Rs1.1bn in the previous year.
