Malwa Industries pockets two denim companies

Malwa Industries acquired 100 percent equity of Jordan based Third Dimension Apparels and a majority stake in Italian Emmetre Tintolavanderie Industriali Srl for $10 million.

While Third Dimension is manufacturing denim garments, the Italian company offers dyeing and finishing services of apparel including for denim garments.

Speaking to media, Rishi Oswal, CEO of Malwa Industries said, “Our acquisition of Third Dimension has given us a strategic foothold in a garment manufacturing location with duty-free access to the US and European markets.”

Company has a capacity of 20 million metres of denim fabrics and 8.5 million pieces of denim garments.

Malwa Industries is a part of textile group based in Northern India with sales and offices all over India and overseas.

Its group excel today in the field of spinning high quality large multi variety of cotton and synthetic yarn and also manufacture world class Sweaters under the brand name 'Casablanca' and are licensee of 'Pringle of Scotland'.
