Carmel Carpets acquires 50.1% stake in Atlas Carpets

Israeli Company Carmel Carpets has agreed to purchase leading carpet manufacturer of Turkey, Atlas Carpets through 50.1 percent shares acquisition at a consideration.
With the prized acquisition, Carmel Holding will turn more competitive in the global carpet market, informed Carmel Holding CEO Ofer Eitani.
Eitani added that expansion activities in Turkey will not be conducted out at the cost of work being being carried out in Israel.
Carmel earning through domestic sale was NIS 60 million while its export stood at NIS 25 million in 2005.
Carmel Carpets has been the leading Israeli firm in woven and tufted carpets for over 40 years.
The company has an excellent reputation in production and export of high quality products, proficient customer service and affordable prices.
