Denmark-based world-classed ECCO footwear manufacturer would invest Bt200 million in ECCO (Thailand) wherein 95 percent is owned by Dennish investors and the rest 5 percent by their Thai counterparts.
According to the Danish Company sources, Thai workers are highly potential and skilled and they have full confidence in their country's economy.
Among the company's workers, 20 are disabled but have helped boost the recognition of the company's products in the global market.
It produces superior fashion and sport shoes and 98 percent of it is exported to US, Europe, Japan and Asia.
Export are up at 4.8 million pairs of shoes worth Bt3.8 billion, this year.
