San Diego's 'Ernst & Young Entrepreneur award' declared

Ernst & Young LLP announced the winners of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 award in San Diego. This year's award winners were recognized at a special 20th anniversary gala event at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines before a sold-out audience of over 700 people.
All of the award winners were selected by an independent panel of judges composed of area leaders from business, academic and civic organizations. The San Diego Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 award winners are:

Xanthopoulos, President and CEO, Anadys Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Real Estate and Construction - Michael D. Pattinson, President and CEO, Barratt American, Inc. Emerging - Peter Ulrich, Co-Founder, President and CEO, TargeGen, Inc. Master Entrepreneur - Garry Ridge, President and CEO, WD-40 Company Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient - Walter J. Zable, Chairman, President and CEO, Cubic Corporation
