South Canterbury Textiles is well on its way to recover from the slump and is scheduled to reinstate 26 jobs it had laid off following the closure of Swanndri and Alliance Textiles.
Andrew Miller, management staff, informed that they were going to have a loom in a few weeks making total loom strength to 13.
He further informed that they would be making wool in New Zealand itself and there was no need to look to Italy for the same while China will manufacture Swanndri instead of Timaru.
