Suape Têxtil focuses on Arab world

Owner of brand Corduroy, Suape Têxtil has informed that its products like corduroy, cotelet and indigo are mainly exported and traded in Arab countries.

Export to Arab countries started in 2000 through local representative.

Company achieved noticeable growth in Arab countries mainly due to its fashion and participation in fashion events like Fashion Rio and São Paulo Fashion Week.

Company has partnership with Stylist, which uses Corduroy products like Alexandre Herchcovitch, Mario Queiroz, Gloria Coelho, Lorenzo Merlino, Fábia Bercsek, Patricia Viera, Maria Fernanda Lucena and Karla Girotto.

Company produces corduroys, indigos and flats with high-end technology and research at the fashion centered nations.

Company recently launched novelty Bamboo Corduroy during São Paulo Fashion Week, which took place from July 12 to 18.

At present company focuses on extensive research to develop fashion products to display them in Première Vision – Paris, one of the most prestigious fashion fairs.

Corduroy S.A. was founded in July of 1959 in São Paulo.

With this, began the introduction of corduroy fabrics in the Brazilian fashion industry. In the beginning there were only ten weaving looms and twenty workers.

But the corduroy fabrics, newly produced and of uncontestable quality, rapidly achieved wide consumption.

Suape Têxtil has three vertically integrated plants have the most advanced equipment. Electronically controlled machines produce high quality yarns-carded, combed and twisted.

Air-jet looms and state-of-the-art finishing machines provide for high flexibility when the product is being developed, constant quality in production, and the ability to reproduce colors perfectly.
