AWFML records 8% export revenue growth

Apex Weaving and Finishing Mills Ltd (AWFML) established in 1996, is a fully integrated textile mill dedicated to producing top quality home furnishing for export to the European and North American markets.
It is a one hundred per cent export-oriented composite textile mill providing in-house design facility, with weaving, printing, dyeing, finishing and stitching unity within a single compound.
It is eyeing to have export revenue of 2.20 billion in the 2006-07 fiscal, since it has posted nearly 8.0 percent growth in its export revenue in 2005-06 fiscal due to its export revenue crossing Tk 1.95 billion, which was higher by Tk 140 million than that of the previous fiscal.
In 2003-04 fiscal the export revenue of the company was Tk 1.66 billion.
The continuous growth in the export revenue of the company was attributed due to the teamwork.
Company plans to expand its existing production capacity and is processing the import of state-of-the-art capital machinery.
Current production capacity is 120,000 metres of one hundred percent cotton and poly cotton blends per day.
