Sara Lee Corp appoints Frank Van Oers to SVP

Sara Lee Corporation announced that its board of directors has elected Frank van Oers a Senior Vice President (SVP) of the corporation, effective immediately.
Van Oers, 47, is Chief Executive Officer of Sara Lee International's Coffee & Tea division and has served in this role since July 2006.
Prior to this position, Van Oers was chief financial officer of Sara Lee International. He reports to Adriaan Nühn, Chief Executive Officer of Sara Lee International and Executive Vice President of Sara Lee Corporation.
Van Oers joined Sara Lee in 1996 and he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including General Manager of operations for Douwe Egberts Netherlands, President of Douwe Egberts Coffee Systems Netherlands B.V. and regional Vice President and Pesident of Douwe Egberts Coffee Systems International.
Prior to Sara Lee, Van Oers held various positions with Chicopee B.V., a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, and was an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte Haskins & Sells.
Van Oers earned an accounting degree from and is a registered certified public accountant with NIVRA, the Netherlands' professional association of accountants.
