Pars Petrochemical 9th Olefin Project 96% complete

Public Relations Dept of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) revealed that 96.6 percent of construction work of 9th Olefin Project at Pars has been completed.
While work of light polyethylene cracker is 95 percent complete, that of medium and heavy polyethylene has progressed 96.7 percent.
Ethylene unit has hit the 97.28 precent mark. Propane will also be produced at this project.
The site of Pars Petrochemical Company (Area 26 Ha.) is located at Assaluyeh, approx. 270 km south east of Busher and 570 km west of Bandar Abbas on the north side of the Persian Gulf in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone.
NPC, a subsidiary to the Iranian Petroleum Ministry, is owned by the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is responsible for the development and operation of the country's petrochemical sector
