Indus Fila, manufacturer and exporter of fabric and apparel, plans to expand its garment manufacturing capacity investing about Rs 163.6 crore, through the IPO route.
The company plans to enter the capital market with an issue of Rs89.6 crore with a price band of Rs170-185.
Indus Fila rakes in about 90 percent of its revenue from export market and is targeting a turnover of Rs240 crore in FY07 and Rs350 crore in FY08.
Indus Fila's men's shirts and ladies tops is outsourced well-know international brands as Van Heusen, Nike, Izod, Arrow and Chaps.
The expansion would help the company to make 42,000 garments per day compared to its current capacity of 9,000 per day. Its processed fabric capacity will increase to 100,000 metre per day from the present 60,000 metre per day.
