Sultex to display cutting edge technology at ITMA ASIA

Weaving machine maker Sultex Limited is going to participate at ITMA ASIA 2005.
At the second ITMA Asia, to be held in Singapore from 17 to 21 October 2005, Sultex will be exhibiting a representative selection from its comprehensive product portfolio – two Sulzer Textil P7300HP projectile weaving machines and one Sulzer Textil G6500 rapier weaving machine.
Sultex is participating in the world's most important textile machinery trade fair to present advanced solutions for the weaving facilities of the future. In addition to the weaving machines on show, Sultex experts from all fields will be glad to explain our entire service package and other interesting products to visitors in detail.
Sturdy and versatile – the P7300HP
On a 390 cm wide two-colour projectile machine equipped with tappet motion, classic denim will be woven. With 380 picks per minute, the P7300HP achieves a weft insertion rate of 1500 m/min.
The second reinforced P7300HP, with four weft colours and tappet motion, will be producing a very dense and heavy belt reinforcement fabric over a width of 390 cm. With an insertion rate of 4 x 1405 m/min, four dtex 500 (Ø 0.26 mm) monofilaments will be woven simultaneously. This gives a very impressive demonstration of the versatility of this weft insertion system.
Setting new standards – the G6500
The 220 cm wide Sulzer Textil G6500 rapier weaving machine will be shown in operation with eight weft colours and electronically controlled dobby. The production of a seat cover fabric of the kind used by Swiss Federal Railways will illustrate that this latest-generation weaving machine is equal to the most demanding tasks. The Sulzer Textil G6500 is equipped with a “RotoCut” electric weft cutter, a positively controlled back rest roller and an electronically controlled dynamic weft brake.
