BTTG opens subsidiary in India

BTTG (British Textiles Technology Group), which is UK base and internationally renowned, independent, external support organization, providing an extensive range of testing and certification services worldwide, on a confidential basis, open third overseas office in India in name of Shirley Technologies Limited in addition to the existing 2 overseas offices namely China and Singapore.

BTTG launches its Indian operation in Techtextil Exhibition to be held on 10-12th October. 2007 at NSE Ground, Mumbai.

This office will offer all service of BTTG group to Indian textile industry in traditional as well as specialist textile industries.

The aim of the BTTG is to actively support Indian textile industries in the area of advance material testing and certification services.

This office will be managed by qualified & experienced textile technocrat Rajesh Maheshwari, who is based at Ahmedabad, India.

BTTG was created in 1988 and was formed by merger of the Shirley Institute and WIRA, two internationally recognized organizations.

Development of partition chromatography won the Nobel Prize at Shirley Institute which is now key tool for many other industries.

Shirley Institute introduced the concept of breathable PU coating. Fundamental of many test methods, quality control methods and testing instruments were developed at these two great institutions.
