PT Tri Polyta, the largest Indonesian manufacturer of polypropylene (PP) resins, scheduling to shutdown its PP unit in Cilegon, Banten for maintenance.
Mr Djomo Waluyo, Production Manager, told Fibre2fashion that, this was annual shut-down, which is done every year, due to power outage enforced by the government.
He informed, “Plant will remain closed for one week in the end of June and restart in early-July. Company will bear loss of production worth around 6000 tons during the shut down.”
PT Tri Polyta, which boasts annual PP production capacity of 360,000 metric tons, is seeking regulatory approval for re-listing its shares.
