Leominster, Mass-based Spectro Coating Corp has recently launched a new line of high performance stain-resistant upholstery fabrics for commercial use in hospitality, home furnishings, automotives, recreational vehicle and marine interiors.
In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Mr Hemendra Shah, Owner of Spectro Coating, confirmed the launch saying, “This leather-like fabric is developed using water-based, low-volatile organic chemicals. Besides, this Primo 150 Upholstery Fabric features a nanotechnology-based, stain resistant finish that can stand firm against 150,000 rubs and are actually very easy to clean with mild detergent solutions.”
Mr Hemendra of Spectro Coating Corp also said that the textured fabric is available in 55 inch wide rolls and come in 45 different colors.
When asked about the market demand for this unique fabric, Mr Hemendra divulged that the company expects a sale of somewhere between 300,000 to 500,000 yards annually.
