Viyellatex chairman emphasizes on sustainable textile production

Viyellatex Group Chairman, David Hasanat, recently while speaking at Huntsman Textile Effects' launching programme of 'Avitera SE & Eriopon LT Dyeing', stressed on eco-friendly sustainable technique of manufacturing textiles, which he said, while reducing the consumption of water, time and energy, would also boost production.
While elaborating on the same he said that, sustainable production means ecologically, socially and economically sustainable industrialization.
Hasanat further said that, today as conservation of underground water is under serious threat and the world's fossil fuel is also nearing extinction, the world needs to soon find out other sustainable sources of energy, and should also be careful about conservation of water.
The multi-national dyeing and chemical firm, Huntsman organized the event called 'A sustainable innovation customer event', in association with its local representative Swiss Colours.
Rohit Agarwal, Vice-President, Apparel and Home Textiles gave a business presentation on the activities and future prospects of Huntsman in Bangladesh.
The new pioneering technique, which facilitates conservation of over 50 percent water and energy while processing, provides a genuine prospect to the mills, brands and retailers to actually change the state of affairs, Agarwal said.
Avitera SE dyes and Eriopon LT possess an inimitable set of properties which guarantees a remarkable reduction in the processing costs while retaining the superior quality, while greatly increasing the ecological acceptability of the products. All these advantages greatly contribute to sustainability in textile processing, he added.
Hasanat, while explaining the need and significance of the sustainable textile manufacturing for the country, displayed an example of a sustainable textile industry and asserted that, Viyelatex Group has already implemented the same.
