Vijay Textiles, a home décor company, has shifted emphasis on 'mega retailing' as it offers quick cash realization as against wholesale business.
R Malhotra, Company Finance Director stressed that the company will not compromise on the needs of their wholesale consumers.
The company, which registered a turnover of Rs 77 crore last year, is aiming for Rs 82-85 crore this year.
Its second outlet was launched in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs20 crore. At this five-level outlet, 20,000 designs will be displayed in the price range of Rs25-1500.
R. Malhotra believes that the furnishing market is flourishing and people today, not only buy property but also want to decorate it to their desire.
The company has plans to open showrooms in Delhi and Bangalore and other major cities. While Delhi outlet will open next fiscal, the one in Bangalore will come up following year.
The company's target customers include NRIs, institutions, airlines and hotels.
