After successfully launching its functional denims in various markets of India, LNJ Denim, is now, exploring the southern markets.
This was revealed by Mr YC Gupta, CEO – LNJ Denim, a division of RSWM Ltd, which in turn is part of the Rs 50 billion LNJ Bhilwara Group.
The company had last year launched various varieties of functional denims like, antibacterial and anti-odour denim, water, oil and dust repellent denim, hydrophilic denim and fire retardant denims.
Revealing their expansion plans, Mr Gupta said, “LNJ Denim proposes to invest around Rs 1.5 billion in 2011-12, by adding 14,400 ring spindles from Zinser and 960 open-end rotors of Schlafhorst, both from Germany".
He added, “Currently, we produce about 1,500 tons of yarn and 1.5 million metres of denim fabric per month and plan to double the same within the next two years at an investment of two billion rupees”.
