Digital fashion brands will be successful & profitable: Richard Hobbs

Fashion brands in the near future could well only exist digitally and yet be extremely successful and profitable as businesses, according to the founder and CEO of Hong Kong-based fashtech company Brand New Vision, Richard Hobbs. Every fashion brand should therefore maintain both digital and physical collections, and fashion businesses should accelerate the process of embracing new technologies to stay relevant.

“We will be living our lives online to an extent never experienced before and with the advances in technology and communication there will be opportunities for people to wear the items from their digital wardrobes in multiple environments and metaverses,” Hobbs told Fibre2Fashion in an exclusive interview published in the June edition of Fibre2Fashion's magazine.
