ErgoSoft has launched RIP Version 15 with over 40 new features, innovative enhancements, a fresh new appearance, new sales and licensing model and a simplified product configuration.

Alongside, the company has also unveiled its new refurbished website to promote Version 15 changes and provide a wide range of product information to its customers.

According to Ergosoft, the innovations in Version 15 include a new dithering method, for faster RIP speed and smoother gradients and a new CMS architecture, which supports 16bit rendering.

It also has an image nesting for automated nesting capabilities; smart fill, which allows time-saving and intelligent image duplication and printer pooling, which distributes jobs to identical printers.

With regards to Version 15 enhancements, the company informed that its step & repeat supports PDF and spot colour replacement; while the ColorGPS helps in gamut mapping and smoothing.

It also has a Hotfolder, which utilises presets like Nesting, has multiple image add-ons and lastly contour cutting, which apply cut paths to all images in a job.

Ergosoft has also simplified the software with a simplified product selection; an easy to understand price and feature list; a new application appearance and workspaces and a new model with an easy to use workflow. (AR)
