Winter Time, an international winter clothing specialist, has selected Eurostop's retail management solution to support its twenty four outlets across Singapore and Malaysia. The retailer is using e-rmis to manage its stock more effectively across its stores and staff process all sales using e-pos at the tills. The company is planning to use Eurostop's franchise solution for its planned expansion into Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. Winter Time's new online store will also be developed using by Eurostop's e-commerce solution.

Winter Time selected the Eurostop system for its established reputation in the retail sector and has invested in many of the additional modules that Eurostop offers. Using the promotion module, discounts and product promotions are preset by the head office team and activated when they are current. These are then automatically calculated and included when the transaction is processed, improving customer service and accuracy of sales by ensuring that there are no pricing errors at the till.

The head office team also use the data cubes and business intelligence module to monitor stock movements across the stores. Using sales data reports they can identify which products are the hot sellers and the product mixes that are successful in different stores, creating promotions to maximise sales across the outlets.

Winter Time is using the Loyalty program both at till point to capture customer information and at head office to monitor customers' buying patterns and preferences. Promotions and campaigns are targeted at specific customers or groups of customers, encouraging them to buy new ranges or special offers.

A spokesperson for Winter Time said; “Eurostop's retail solutions meet every requirement that we have to support our operations. It gives us tighter control on our stock management, improving our service delivery and cash flow. We can now make informed business decisions based on accurate sales data.

“Eurostop are also providing their e-commerce expertise to help us develop an online presence that will build on our stores' success. It will not only provide a new way for our customers purchase, it will extend our reach to a global market.”

Richard Loh, managing director at Eurostop said; “Eurostop's retail solutions help address the many aspects of business that a successful retailer needs to consider. Winter Time's investment in an integrated stock management and sales system will pay dividends on the bottom line. It will enable the retailer to support its growing number of outlets with accurate data and stock management. We look forward to working with Winter Time as they expand with new stores and online.”

Winter Time is a provider of winter clothing (and also stocks spring and autumn ranges) with twelve outlets in Singapore and a further twelve in Malaysia.
