MarketLive Inc announced that plus-size women's apparel cataloger, Ulla Popken, has launched a new Facebook store that is fully integrated with its MarketLive eCommerce platform.

MarketLive partnered with Ulla Popken to develop the new Facebook store which is powered by MarketLive's Social Store for Facebook, and enables merchants to create fully functional Facebook stores through their existing MarketLive platform and administration console.

The new Facebook store provides consumers with a shopping experience similar to the one they get on Ulla Popken's website – but without directing the consumer away from Facebook. With MarketLive's Social Store for Facebook, consumers will see drop-down navigation bars, a zoom function and have the ability to complete transactions on Facebook. The integrated system also means that the merchant can add or update information on the eCommerce site and the new information will appear in the Facebook store at the same time.

"MarketLive has helped us create a Facebook store that integrates seamlessly with our eCommerce platform," said Michelle Richenderfer, director of marketing at Ulla Popken. "MarketLive makes it easy to merchandise our main site and our Facebook site simultaneously. Additionally, we have the power of MarketLive's broad functionality including promotions, campaigns and personalization available on our Facebook store."

The MarketLive Social Store for Facebook gives merchants like Ulla Popken complete control over merchandising the site exactly the same way as their main site or completely different. It is up to the merchant. Merchants like Ulla Popken can also create campaigns and promotions specific to Facebook.

"Through our Social Store for Facebook, Ulla Popken can more easily convert Facebook users into buyers," said Mark Pierce, CEO of MarketLive. "Now shoppers can buy products without leaving Facebook, and the merchant can coordinate marketing activities and transactional capabilities. The result will be stronger relationships with customers which translates to repeat sales and deeper customer loyalty."

Since 1995, MarketLive, Inc., has been the leading provider of enterprise-class eCommerce retail technology and services that help fast-growing companies successfully sell goods and services online.
